Katie Lee:  So I got up and left for work early and was listening to Sirius this morning and caught the last 1/2 hour of Howard.  More repetitive shit in my opinion, but that’s my opinion and I know you Howard fans will defend him no matter what he does.  According to the wind-down they hat Katie Lee Joel on and interviewed her.  She’s the 32 year junior wife to one Mr. Billy Joel and was on to promote her new cook book and supposedly talked about her upscale life in the Hampton’s.  I don’t know, I didn’t hear the interview but listened to the 1st 1/2 of the wrap-up show.  From what Sal and a few callers commented on, she sounds not only awfully snobby but pretty boring as well.  Curious as to what she looked like, I Googled her (pictured). 

Again, my opinion but she’s not as hot as I was picturing.  Actually I guess I’m a little surprised that Billy Joel settled after having Christy Brinkley whose is much hotter at 51 years old than Katie.  All I can figure is Katie must do something in bed for Billy.  But I will tell you,…as much as I do actually enjoy the wrap up show normally….Gary was just droning on and on and on about Sal’s take on her and it was so f’n boring.  But maybe I’m glad I missed the interview because if the first few callers were accurate she came across as a spoiled little girl who ‘married money’ and now her crap doesn’t stink.

RB:  Got my guitar yesterday in the mail.  First, it was indeed quick delivery & free (shipping) which is a bonus for EA in my book.  Second, the guitar work so much better…another point in EA’s favor.  BUT, Third, it was clearly a ‘refurbished’ guitar and not a new one.  I could tell because there was a few scuff marks on the face and body, and even some dirty fingerprints.  So EA basically takes the shells apart of broken guitars and retrofits them with new innards and ships them back out to gamers as passing them off as ’second gen’ guitars.  I can understand why….save money on all these perfectly fine ’shells’…but the shitter is they really don’t clean them up very well.  So one negative point from me.  Call me prudish, but if I spend $160 on a game, I want ‘new’ equipment, not ‘refurbished’ equipment.  But it works…

Now RB gaming:  I’m now working on ‘medium’ difficulty.  Some songs I rip on, and others….well…I just can’t seem to get the hang of the split note using the red and blur fret combo.  Since I have a GH III guitar I’m trying to find a friend of mine to come over to start Band Tour and unlock new songs.  I need to come up with a band name.  How ’bout the self titled ‘Daysprings’?

There was also a new ‘free’ download last night.  It is the cult song “Still Alive” from the game Portal.  It’s really melodic and yet a bit creepy.  Check out lyrics here.

BB9: How great was last nights episode?  Shiela is one of the most duplicitous and ‘fake’ people I have ever had the misfortune of watching on TV.  She’d be great for Evil Dick.  The two can be miserable and ‘victims’ of life together.  How does she continue to survive week after week here?  The blow up with James was epic.  I’m so jazzed he won POV.  While it was smart for Natalie to put up Sharon & Joshua in the end from a strategic standpoint…I not so secretly want Shiela out.  James needs to learn how to shut up though.  Being a bit humble from time to time just may indeed remove that target painted on your back for 4 weeks straight. 

Natalie continues to amaze me.  Not that she has a hot body, but by how obsessed she is with Matt (who doesn’t like her but she doesn’t seem to accept that in her mind), but how dumb she is.  Her stupidity cannot be an act as she claims.  I truly think she has a 6th grade education.
